Loving The Approval Of God

A common temptation for
believers is to seek for the approval of men, rather than the approval of
God. This is no small matter; Scripture indicates that anyone who is
constantly motivated by a desire to please people and keep everyone happy
cannot be a true servant of God. Am I now trying to win the approval of
men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to
please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. [1] We must be careful,
for we are living in a generation who delights in honoring men.
